Today was FUN! My son had a preschool field trip to a local
pumpkin farm. They had all these hay bales stacked up about
20X20, with slides coming off of them...super slick ones, at
that...kids flying everywhere! Little corn maze, HUGE corn maze,
hayrides, they had this really neat non-sandbox...I say non-sandbox,
because imagine said sandbox - take out the sand and put in corn
kernels. I just wanted to wallow in it. These kernels were
at least a foot deep...way cool. They had races with the kids
with pumpkins in their wheelbarrows, ball pit (kid mosh), pony rides
(boo...I hate to see those little ponies just trodding around in a
circle)-though I did let him ride...bad activist!, petting zoo, face
painting, etc....good times, good times.Then we went to Blockbuster and rented everything kiddie Halloween they
had. Poor Jason wants to participate in the scarier part so bad,
but just can't hack it....crawled into my bed at least 3 times last
night. So we got FrankenPooh, Dora's Halloween, and Charlie
Brown...how non-scary can you get? Problem is, he's bored by
them...would rather watch Ghostbusters or something that will give him
nightmares. (yes, Ghostbusters can be scary...don't laugh too
much, but that movie would scare the bejeebers outta me...and I'm
talking about recently! That part where the ghost flies out of
the library? SPOOKY!)Speaking of movies, has everyone seen Fever Pitch yet? LOVE
IT! Oh, and speaking of baseball....CARDS ARE GONNA
WIN!!!!!! Go Cardinals, go cardinals! Anyone watch that
magnificent game last night?And how do I get a cool background on this thing? I want some
Halloween decors on here. Oh-and pictures....do I have to go
premium to get 'em? Warning: there will be lots and lots of
pics when I get to post 'em!
Words I will miss when my son learns correct pronunciation:
1: gwils (girls)
2. gubblegum (obviously, bubblegum)
3. Ploblem (as in, mom, I have this ploblem...)
There's several others...I'll have to list them as he says them
again...these are said pretty often and they're JUST SO DANG CUTE!!!!!!Oh yeah...please go say a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to
number_one_blonde...I have no idea how to link anyone, she's up there
in my subscriptions...she's had a pretty poopy birthday so far, so show
her some lovin'! (g-rated...she's a good girl!)(most of the time
)
Took this off another site (thanks sends)...pretty much pegged me
again...oh dear...if I were a toy I'd be a My Little Pony, and I should
be in the move The Lion King...I have become G-rated in my soul...my
past would laugh at me!HEY- whatchyall think of the new prettiness? I still want leaves
or something falling in the background, I think that would be pretty
neat...gotta figure that one out.

Oh and the background thingy? You need to use a pic hosting site. I use tinypics.com. You can find and use pics from all over the web. Go to any seasonal pics site and you should be able to find something. I don't think you need premium to do pics on your posts either, but don't quote me. I went premium a long time ago. I'm such a sellout! LOL Good luck!

Okay, I'll try to walk you through it, but it can get kind of complicated and I'm still new to it myself so bare with me...
First step: you need to download the pic you have chosen to your pics. Right click on the pic you want, select 'save to my pics' and then save and you have it on your computer.
Second: Go to tinypics and hit the 'browse' button. Select your pic, then hit the download button.
Third: When the next page comes up, you will see four boxes with codes in them. Find which one you need, I always use the top box, and copy it.
Fourth: Go to your look and feel page. Go to the place for backgrounds, and clear the box. Then paste your code into the box.
Remember to save at the bottom of the page and you should be all set. I'm going to go walk through it one more time to make sure I explained it right. Let me know...
Actually it's the save your pic button instead of the download button.
I mean the host pic button. Gosh, talk about the blind leading the blind! If you figure it out from my directions, then you are good! Good luck..

Nice fall colors! I can't believe your poor little girl had to suffer that way because of the idiocy of one teacher!! Poor thing! I'm so glad she is coming out of that. I got an email back from K's teacher and she said the whole thing was her mistake and now K is making a high B - from and F! Stinking teachers! Lol.

hey, saw your comment about your daughter's 4th grade experience. We had the same problems last year in 4th grade. I came so close to taking SD out of that teacher's room, & I wish I would have. This year SD has all A's & 1 B. She LOVES class now & her teacher. I know what it is about 4th grade...maybe the teacher's hormones start acting up...I sometimes wondered if her teacher was going through the "change"...LOL! Have a good day!
